IT ISN ’ T A SHOCK TO SEE that Snapshot Survey respondents noted an increase in their use of social media over the course of 2020 . More than six in ten respondents ( 62 %) said that the amount of time they spent on social media had increased from the beginning of the year to the end .

Though respondents ’ social media use was up across the board in 2020 , resource partners were considerably more likely to use social media for both personal and professional purposes . Forty-one percent of resource partners reported using Twitter personally and professionally compared to just 20 percent of spa respondents . Similarly , 46 percent of resource partners used YouTube for both , compared to just 22 percent of spa respondents .
