INTERVIEW
RANJIT SINGH DHALIWAL (Founding Director MISS INDIA EUROPE)
What inspired you to create a beauty pageant with
a difference such as Miss India Europe?
Our traditions, our rich culture and my daughters who
are biggest inspiration.
Are you a team player or a person who works
better on his own accord?
I believe in teamwork especially if the team is like the
one I had on board for the Grand Finale 2014
What challenges have you faced in arranging an
event of such Grande stature?
It was a very big challenge to organize a pageant like
the Grand Finale in a third country, where by the
language is foreign and local system unknown but we
finally did it..Gracias Spain!

fights?

What platform and opportunities will Miss India
Europe give the participants?
There are many opportunities for the girls in the
fashion world and also Bollywood’s door is open for
them. One of our girls Nita Mandal (Miss India Europe
winner Germany) came 2nd runner up in Miss Indian
Princess. Our other participant and 1sr runner up,
Jessica Singh from Finland, already has a lead role in a
punjabi movie with Daler Mehndi’s son, Gurdeep
Mehndi., There are many other opportunities in
movies, modeling and music videos. I always say Miss
India Europe is working like a GPS showing them the
way, but its up to them to push it..
How was the scoring done?
We had three rounds, Presentation,
Talent and Qns & Ans round and we
had three judges. The chi
