TALENT FROM AROUND THE WORLD NANDANI PATEL, UK Talent: Boxing Nandani took up boxing after a health scare last year and she was keen to make an improvement in her lifestyle. She has a strict fitness regime which includes adhering to calorie controlled nutritional meals and an extensive exercise plan. She regularly goes to the Fitness Ambition Gym to Box which she loves and not only keeps her fit and gives her strength but she also uses it as a form of self defence. As her personal trainer, Darren Wright says, it is not so much about strength, as it is about one’s mind being focused. Although she is still learning Boxing she is hopeful for the future. She is also looking to be selected as a model for Miss Motors who are selecting their Miss Monaco Grand Prix Models and Cannes Film Festival Models to join them with the A listers at Cannes Film Festival then onto Monaco Grand Prix. She grew up listening to and singing latin music but decided to venture into Hip HOp, a very new style to native Trinidad where Soca Music is the most popular genre. Breaking into this has proved challenging but Kimi M believes in her ability to be heard. She has already performed at 27 events so far and is receiving radio airplay so she is slowly but surely breaking the barriers. Kimi is inspired by the love she has for music. Her future goals would be to reach the international arena and touch the hearts of people within the world with her music. Her advice advice to young artists trying to make a change is to realise that perception is reality and what you perceive u shall achieve. Did you know?
