TALENT FROM AROUND THE WORLD
NANDANI PATEL, UK
Talent: Boxing
Nandani took up boxing after a health scare last
year and she was keen to make an improvement
in her lifestyle. She has a strict fitness regime
which includes adhering to calorie controlled
nutritional meals and an extensive exercise plan.
She regularly goes to the Fitness Ambition Gym to
Box which she loves and not only keeps her fit
and gives her strength but she also uses it as a
form of self defence. As her personal trainer,
Darren Wright says, it is not so much about
strength, as it is about one’s mind being focused.
Although she is still learning Boxing she is
hopeful for the future. She is also looking to be
selected as a model for Miss Motors who are
selecting their Miss Monaco Grand Prix Models
and Cannes Film Festival Models to join them
with the A listers at Cannes Film Festival then
onto Monaco Grand Prix. If you are interested

KIMI M TRINIDAD
Talent: Singer
Camille Mcarthy aka Kimi M is an upcoming
hip hop artist from Trinidad. She grew up
listening to and singing latin music but decided
to venture into Hip HOp, a very new style to
native Trinidad where Soca Music is the most
popular genre. Breaking into this has proved
challenging but Kimi M believes in her ability to
be heard. She has already performed at 27 events
so far and is receiving radio airplay so she is
slowly but surely breaking the barriers. Kimi is
inspired by the love she has for music. Her future
goals would be to reach the international arena
and touch the hearts of people within the world
with her music. Her advice advice to young artists
trying to make a change is to realise that
perception is reality and what you perceive u
shall achieve.
Did you know?
Soca is a style of Caribbean music originating in
Trinidad and Tobago.Soca developed as an
offshoot of Kaiso/calypso, with influences from
Cadence-lypso, Soul, Funk and Indian musical
instruments. The presence of a large Indian
population in Trinidad blended traditional
Indian musical instruments—particularly the
dholak, tabla and dhantal—into a style called
chutney music.
