“We also offer ‘Spa with a Cause’
wherein we reach out to local nonprofit
organizations and pitch to them the
benefits of partnering with us for their
fund-raising programs and events,” she
says, adding that the spa once partnered
with the National Kidney Foundation for
their fund-raising event.
“For the holidays, we offered guests a
percentage off their spa services in
exchange for gifts for the Toys for Tots
Foundation and the Boys and Girls Clubs
of America,” she says.
Looking Ahead
To ensure a sustainable growth for the
spa, Vipperman looks into opportunities
for expansion. “Since Sandpearl Resort is
also a popular wedding destination, we
hope to fully serve our bridal guests by
adding a hair salon in the spa later this
year,” she says.

Plans on expanding the spa’s wellness program are also in Vipperman’s
bucket list. “I would really want to bring
in professionals to speak on topics like
skin care and health, chiropractic care,
quality of life and detoxification of the
mind,” she says. “My hope is to offer
these as monthly lectures for guests who
want the full mind, body and spirit
experience.” n
