WHAT’S ON If a man’s home is his castle, then what’s his work space? For some of us, it’s organized chaos—piles of paperwork, tons of sample products, corkboards painted with colored Post-its, the list goes on. And then there are those whose cubicles are serene sanctuaries, devoid of clutter, except perhaps for an indispensable Mac, favorite spa book and a calming candle. My favorite white pen from the Montage Resort & Spa in Laguna Beach, California where I have to visit every few months just to get a new one. My two daily obsessions: O-Mega Wonder Full Balm (WFB) and Mama Mio’s Eye Know Eye Gel. If I’m not scribbling down notes when I’m on the phone, I’m occasionally putting WFB on my cuticles. Mama Mio’s Eye Know Eye Gel gives the perfect pick-me-up when I’m feeling fatigued. Yes, I’m old school! I’m still using a BlackBerry but the pressure to switch to an iPhone is getting intense. 5. Used and current notebooks. I’m a note scribbler and always have to reference my past notes. 6. White mug. Love my hot cocoa protein in the afternoon. 7. Ruler and tape measure. I’m always measuring or converting measurements for artwork or boxes, fixtures, etc. If there is a ruler missing in the office, I usually have it. 8. Gravida candle, even when unlit it smells amazing. 9. My gold and sparkly gecko Aruba bottle opener which my rep in New York brought me back as souvenir. It always makes me laugh. 10. Product tray full of components which we are currently testing and evaluating. ■ However you define your work space, we’d love for you to show us!
