Nearly Half of Global Employees Think Their Workplace is Safe and Healthy I n a survey conducted by global research company Ipsos for Reuters News, nearly half (47 percent) of employees in 24 countries agree that their current workplace is a “psychologically safe and healthy environment to work in.” Based on the survey results, the United States and Canada ranked highest among the 24 nation workplaces to have the psychologically healthiest workplaces. The ranking among employees from countries who agree that their workplace is psychologically safe and healthy is as follows: America 65% 60% Canada 57% India Australia Indonesia, Great Britain and South Africa China Turkey Brazil 56% 55% 54% 53% 52% Employees from Russia (36%), Poland (35%) and France (32%) are among those who ranked at the bottom of the survey. How about in your own business or workplace? Are you creating an environment that emotionally and psychologically assures your team’s well-being and safety? For instance, are you providing your massage therapists the proper training to ensure that they protect themselves from work-related injuries?
