THE DESK OF: DAVE SEBBEN COORDINATOR
If a man’s home is his castle, then what’s his work space? For
some of us, it’s organized chaos—piles of paperwork, tons of
sample products, corkboards painted with colored Post-its, the
list goes on. And then there are those whose cubicles are serene
sanctuaries, devoid of clutter, except perhaps for an indispensable Mac, favorite spa book and a calming candle.

Desktop PC—this monitor allows me to see all the available video sources that can be displayed on the
projection screens, be it cameras, PowerPoint slides,
videos, etc.
Mac laptop for video editing. I also have this configured
to run Windows, which it does as well or better than
some PCs.
Bowls of Blue Diamond almonds in butter toffee and
dark chocolate flavors—a pre-requisite for all ISPA
General Sessions. Yum!
Binder containing all scripts of each presenter.
Another desktop PC—this shows the teleprompter,
backup graphics and can also broadcast TV shows (but
never during the General Sessions!)

Nextel Radio for communication with ISPA staff.
I use my PC for music, cue sheets and scripts.
Cue-to-Cue document which our technical crew references for each presentation. Sometimes, things change
from the written Cue sheet, so when that happens, we
refer to the document as a “Clue” sheet.
9. Masking drape hides all the cables, cases and other items
we keep at the control riser. Without this, we’d actually
have to pay attention to how neatly we set up this area.
