FROM THE CHAIRMAN I t may have been over a month ago since we wrapped up the 2011 ISPA Conference & Expo, but I am still feeling the Conference fever! Can anyone blame me for feeling this energized and enthusiastic given how contagious last year’s Conference speakers were? Each day as I navigate through work and life, Life is good CEO Bert Jacob’s message continues to reverberate in me. Optimism, he said, can take you anywhere—and I firmly believe in that. In fact, my belief—whether in the capacity of this year’s ISPA Board to make bold and relevant decisions; in our industry’s ability to strengthen our foothold in making a difference in global health, or in ISPA’s relevance as a global representative of all spa segments—is deeply rooted in optimism. There are many more things I believe in and are strongly optimistic about. I have shared most of them during my speech at Conference. I encourage you all to view it on the digital version of Pulse.
