Éminence Organic Skin Care founders Attila and Boldijarre Koronczay are recipients of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2011 Award which honors the spirit and contribution of entrepreneurs around the world . Éminence was honored in the products and services category . Recipients were selected from entrepreneurs with worldwide influence from Canada ’ s leading industries .
2 . Kerstin Florian , founder and president of Kerstin Florian International , was given the Entrepreneurial Eliason Merit Award by the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce of Greater Los Angeles . The Eliason Merit Award goes to individuals and businesses who have contributed significantly toward strengthening relations between the United States and Sweden in the areas of commerce , culture , science and the arts .
3 . The Lodge at Woodloch in Hawley , Pennsylvania has partnered with point-based program Stash Hotel Rewards . Stash members can now earn points toward free nights each time they stay at Woodloch .
4 . ORLY International has launched a new gel manicure system , the ORLY GelFX . The new line is offered in 32 top-selling lacquers and is infused with an exclusive vitamin complex of antioxidant vitamins A and E and pro-vitamin B5 .
5 . South Seas Skin Care , LLC is the exclusive tanning provider to ABC ’ s Dancing with the Stars . Company founder Julie Nostrand spray tans each contestant before they take the stage with the paraben-free body bronzing and body care line . The products are also Hollywood favorites on the sets of True Blood , Modern Family , House and Mad Men .
6 . Stellar Spa in Corte Madera , California introduces a Seawater Negative Ion Inhalation Therapy room to accompany their massage treatments . The benefits of seawater mist and the immune-enhancing properties and calming effects of negative ions are used therapeutically to counteract the effects of pollution and treat respiratory ailments , hay fever , allergies , depression , stress , tension , anxiety , fatigue and jet lag .
7 . Glenn Stogryn , President of Stogryn Sales Ltd ., in Edmonton , Alberta was presented with Leading Spas of Canada ’ s Outstanding Achievement Award . The award recognizes outstanding contributions to the association , spa industry or community in the past year . Stogryn has been a life-long supporter of the industry and was one of the founding sponsors of the association .

● Clarins has launched a new spa-themed game on Facebook called Spa Life . The game enables players to develop their time-management skills by recreating the challenges of running a spa . The purpose of the game is to keep your guests happy by accommodating their needs . Players can even recommend Clarins products to their fictional guests . Clarins goal in creating the game was to build their Facebook fan base .
● An Arkansas-based Massage Envy franchise showed their team spirit by implementing a special deal for Arkansas Razorback fans . After the football team ’ s victory over Auburn University , the spa offered $ 10 off intro massage sessions for a day .
