“ I can say a lot about my team ( as they are the best ), but most important is that they never stopped working to ensure that their clients ( beauty / spa pros ) had the products they needed to generate revenue to kept their businesses alive . Since we cannot be together in person , we meet weekly and have a team retreat already booked for December 2021 . We hope that this is when we can be together and plan for a “ normal ” 2022 .”
“ We celebrate achievements during our weekly zoom calls by asking each manager to share their successes and using these as teaching moments ! I begin each call by going around the virtual room and asking each of my managers to share a personal ( non-work ) success for the day or week . This helps to build community and enables us to connect as people ( rather than just colleagues ).”
