time, but what girl doesn’t love
a pair of stilettos?

Decaf or Espresso? Espresso
all the way—sadly, caffeine is
my best friend.
Swedish or Deep-Tissue
Massage? Definitely deeptissue massage. I love the
therapeutic benefits, especially
after long flights.
Casual Chic or Power Suit?
Casual chic. I ditched the
power suits when I gave up
accounting.
Yoga or Aerobics? Yoga.
I love the way it helps reduce
my stress level and increases
my focus.
Sensible Shoes or Stilettos?
Sensible shoes most of the
Fiction Novels or
Autobiographies? Both! It
depends on my mood. I’m currently re-reading I Know Why
the Caged Bird Sings by Maya
Angelou.

Suspense Movies or
Drama? Probably drama. My
favorite movie of all time is To
Kill a Mockingbird.
Boutique Shops or Flea
Markets? Boutique shops, for
sure. Sometimes, it’s nice to
have my choices limited.

Sneakers or Loafers? My
comfy and worn-out sneakers,
of course. When I’m out and
about, I like to dress on the
comfortable side.
Jeans or Khakis? I don’t
think I ever remember wearing
khakis other than the few golf
games I’ve been to. You’ll find
me wearing jeans most of the
time, even at work.
Hiking or Running? Hiking,
since I can cover both a full
body workout while enjoying
some of the most breathtaking scenery from nature.
One of my most awe-inspiring
hikes was with my wife at the
Arenal Volcano in Costa Rica,
where we hiked the majority
of the volcano’s stunning
nature. The awe-inspiring
part, however, was the
thrilling experience zip-lining
back down through the rainforest. What an adventure!
Sushi or Steak? Although
San Diego offers some amazing
sushi, I’d have to go with
steak.
Wine or Craft Beer? Oh, I
have a love affair with craft
beer! I actually enjoy brewing
a few home-brews throughout
the year. I just crafted a rather
unorthodox Honey Pumpkin
Hefeweizen a couple of
months ago (which came out
surprisingly well), and will be
experimenting with a Belgian
Dark Strong recipe next.

Casual Chic or Power Suit?
Casual chic. I love interesting
clothes with textures that you
can either wear as dressy or
casual.
Sensible Shoes or Stilettos?
I love shoes so choosing one
particular kind of shoe is just
unheard of for me. I have a
tendency to find great-looking,
stylish shoes that are also
comfortable.
Swedish or Deep-Tissue
Massage? I love them
both. However, I tend to sway
more toward Swedish massage
because there’s nothing like a
relaxing massage that’s still
firm but without the pain or
required recovery time.
Yoga or Aerobics?
Aerobics. Yoga is great but it’s

sometimes too slow and I like
to get busy and active.
Suspense Movies or
Drama? Drama, although
quite frankly, I’m a comedy
girl. I love movies that make
me laugh, but don’t like scary
movies at all!
Boutique Shops or Flea
Markets? Boutique Shops. I
like shopping in a clean, comfortable environment where
things are organized.
Paris or Bora-Bora? Paris.
There is so much to do, so
much history, shopping, sights.
Swedish or Deep-Tissue
Massage? Deep tissue. I train
a lot so my body needs it.
Jazz or Rock? Neither. I like
electronic and dance music.
Hiking or Running? I do
both, but I would never miss
an opportunity to hike, especially when I’m traveling. I’ve
done major hikes in the
western U.S., Canada, Greece,
Spain and Australia.
Sneakers or Loafers? I
always have the right shoe for
the right occasion.
Jeans or Khakis? A finely tailored suit.
Wine or Craft Beer? I don’t
really drink, but when I do, it’s
Gran Patrón Platinum.
Safari or Beach Adventure?
I will always say “yes” to
adventure! n
