Great Idea

l Spa Gregorie ’ s recently did a promotion called “ Rest for the Best ” wherein readers could nominate someone who could really use a good spa day — whether it was an over-stretched healthcare worker , a mom struggling to juggle kids and work to make ends meet or a young man caring for an ailing parent . Spa Gregorie ’ s partnered with a local publication to get the word out and received 22 nominations . The winners included a teacher who worked days , nights and weekends to not only adapt to new ‘ distance learning ’ techniques but to help her fellow teachers as well as students and their families learn this new education paradigm ; a ‘ senior ’ mom who had not left her house nor seen her family for seven months ; and a tireless front desk worker at a juvenile mental health clinic that was doing the work for two other staff members who could not resume their duties .
