Saltability founder and CEO Ann Brown has been named Top Philanthropist by American Spa ’ s fourth annual “ Women in Wellness ” awards , recognizing “ extraordinary women who are leading the way ” in the spa and wellness industries . The category of Philanthropist honors a woman who is making an altruistic impact on a charity or cause within the spa and wellness industry .“ I am honored to receive this award and to be included in this group of amazing women in the spa industry — thank you to American Spa for this recognition ,” she said . “ Serving my local community and the spa industry is deeply important to me . I will continue to pay it forward in meaningful ways that impact in such a positive way .”

2 . Country music star Miranda Lambert hit the CMA red carpet with envy-worthy hair by celebrity hair stylist Johnny Lavoy . His secret weapon was the Save Me From hair + scalp collection that gave Miranda the volume , shine , and texture she needed for the glam look she wanted . Lambert won the award for Music Video of the Year .“ I chose Save Me From ’ s Age Acceleration to enhance volume and revitalize Miranda ’ s hair ,” Lavoy said .“ It ’ s great because not only will it soften the hair , but it also gives me some volume .”

3 . The 4th World of Wellness Weekend featured participation from 1,123 venues in 109 countries from Albania to Zimbabwe . Those numbers have risen dramatically in just a few years , up from 160 venues in 2 countries in 2017 . There was at least one wellness activity , free of charge , accessible in 543 cities with the intention of replacing “ social distancing ” with “ social wellness .” The 5th World Wellness Weekend will be September 18-19 , 2021 .
4 . haia wellness announced that it achieved the COSMOS Organic European standard for all 24 skin wellness products that launched in November .
