However, I don’t think one can ‘master’ this field—I feel like I’m always the student. I’ve found that it is so important to be open to learning from my massage therapy students as they are all different, bringing fresh perspec- tives and methods. Other peoples’ unique socio-economic backgrounds will never be fully known or understood by you, nor will you know what people are going through at any particular moment.
