Politics: Chinese President Xi visited the United Arab Emirates back in July 2018. The most important highlight of his trip was creating from a bilateral relationship to a comprehensive strategic partnership with them.
Economics: Someone who works at a Chinese policy think tank admitted many economists are not pleased with China’s trade war policies. China thought they could avoid a trade war back in May 2018 by reaching a deal regarding trade. Unfortunately, the Trump administration turned away from that.
Culture: True Me, a display of experimentation with imagery, displays at the 798 Art Factory in Beijing, China until August 14. When guests go around the display, they will see distorted selfies, anime installations, and monochrome rooms.
JAPAN

Politics: In light of recent aggression by the United States, Japan and China seem to be working together more closely for the benefit of both countries.
Economics: Over 80% of major Japanese companies are expecting significant economic growth by the end of this year due to the upcoming 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
Culture: Many female students are struggling to get jobs, despite opportunities being available to their male peers with similar skill-sets.
GERMANY

Politics: Foreign policy and International relations are vital in North America, as they offer trade and have sustainable forces in case of war. However, it is not so great when you have a country such as Germany meddle with the U.S. political system, which could cause turmoil in Trump's foreign policy agenda. It could also cause chaos within Russia's economy as well.
Economics: Although the economies of Europe are not looking to great due to global trade, they are making their way up as Germany's economy growth pushes it into the second quarter with more positive outlooks.
Culture: As sensitive as the subject may be, the gaming industry did not see sight of this as it has been released that Call of Duty: World War II themed games are allowed to feature swastikas and Nazi- affiliations within the game(s). However, they are trying to put a positive twist to it and give gamers a chance to play through the lens of someone who has experienced World War II.
SOUTH KOREA

Politics: With the sexual harassment and continuous misconduct going on, South Korea takes a turn for the worst as a politician has been convicted as not guilty of rape.
Economics: South Korea’s GDP is causing a disparity in their economy, as it was noticed that their unemployment rate is not lowering any quicker and is increasing within the youth dramatically.
Culture: From trying Bingsoo to jamming out to your favorite K-pop band, it is with no surprise that KCon is South Korea's biggest celebration of their culture and brings in a ton of cash for the country.
