Culture: Cities like Paris and Saint-Ouen are using art to connect with immigrants. Ten free shows have been proposed for the upcoming Festival 18/18 in Paris to welcome “artists in exile” and refugees.

Politics: Although Germany is undergoing a major crisis within their political issues, Angela Merkel has called an emergency mini-summit to propose feasible solutions to Germany's failed migration initiatives.
Economics: With the euro in crisis, Angela Merkel has been working hard, yet diligently, to make the eurozone viable. Over the years, Germany’s age population has been growing, which will place the census into greater demand on the national fisc. Because of this, it is becoming a common condition, more acute than Japan surprisingly.
Culture: Welcome to the 2020 Berlin Film Festival! Where newly appointed leaders will be joining the festival. Monika Gruetters commented that, “With the new dual leadership, it is now guaranteed that the Berlinale will be preserved as a public festival with a political character and sophisticated film program".
