Economics: The Iranian economy has drastically slowed down in recent months due to economic sanctions put in place by the U.S. The recession has reached a point where Iran is open to diplomatic compromise with the U.S.
Culture: Iranian artist Keyvan Shovir aims to utilize art to help ease tensions between the U.S and Iran through introducing Americans to elements of Iranian culture and art combined with elements of American life.
SAUDI ARABIA

Politics: Human rights violations continue to occur in Saudi Arabia.
Economics: The Saudi government would be limiting its trade with German companies due its pro Iran policies.
Culture: The kingdom has launched a $ 34.7 billion campaign to remodel the entire cultural economy of the country. With the help of international celebrities, companies and investors the government hopes to make the country a true entertainment hub.
SOUTH KOREA

Politics: After a recent meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un in which he once again served as mediator, President Moon Jae-in stated that Kim Jong-Un's main worry concerned whether or not the United States would preserve the security of the North Korean regime. However, upcoming talks between the United States and Korea are predicted to run smoothly.
Economics: The Green Technology Center of South Korea and the International Center for Green Technology in Kazakhstan issued an agreement that addresses the need for greater cooperation between the two countries regarding climate change policies. While the primary goal is to facilitate the use of renewable energies, the agreement also implies increased collaboration on economic issues.
Culture: South Korean boy band BTS's recent album "Love Yourself: Tear" recently debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, which ranks the most popular albums of the week in America. This is the first time a Korean group has ever made the top post.
