For many years Somerset Falls Family Park mini golf has been a fixture in Pulaski County , offering hours of wholesome fun for local residents and visitors to the Lake Cumberland area alike .

Located at 100 Family Fun Drive Somerset Falls is within walking distance of Somerset Mall as well as the Hampton Inn and Holiday Inn Express with easy access from South Hwy . 27 .

Along with the 18-hole mini golf course Somerset Falls offered indoor games

and a space for group activities .

Since October of 2023 Somerset Falls has been under the ownership of J . P . Farley , former Florida resident and 2022 graduate of the University of Loyola at Chicago . Farley became acquainted with Somerset when his parents moved from Florida to Pulaski County in 2021 .

A year later his father found out the business was for sale and approached J . P . to see if he was interested in buying it .

“ My family has been in real estate for a long time , so I ’ ve been around it my whole life . I had

graduated from Loyola and was looking for work opportunities . My dad found out about this and talked to me to see if I was interested and I was , so that ’ s how I ended up in Somerset ,” Farley said .

One of the first items of business for Farley was to update the main attraction at the facility , the mini golf course .

“ Since buying it we ’ ve done a ton of work on the actual mini golf course , it needed a little attention ,” Farley said . “ Now the greens and landscaping have all been done .”

The golf course is lit for night play and also offers

night golf play with glowin-the-dark balls .

One new addition that should be a hit with visitors when the facility reopens for the season in March is the addition of a golf simulator .

Golf simulators are hightech systems designed to mimic the real game that allow you to practice golf indoor .

“ We are in the process of getting a golf simulator up and running for the upcoming season . We are really excited about that because they are really popular right now ,” Farley said .
