... There ' s no monthly fees , no minimums they ' d have to spend ."
Access to the room is ideal for business meetings and special occasions .
Members pay a $ 1,900 annual fee and get a $ 50 per month kickback to spend at the restaurant , as well as a special barrel keg of Horse Soldier Bourbon every year .
" We ' ve had a lot of interest here in the community ," said Stephens . And even beyond , with interest too from " people who travel , more of the seasonal kind of members " — a key factor in a tourism-based community like that around Lake Cumberland .
' Where Everybody Knows Your Name '
When describing the atmosphere at The Urban Stillhouse , Stephens mentioned a classic TV sitcom bar that was known for being a place where everybody knew each other by name — as per the familiar theme song .
" We recognize who comes in a lot , and we appreciate that ; we really try and let them know we ' re paying attention , we know that they ' re regulars ," he said . " It really gives it a bit of that ' Cheers ' vibe , where you can come in and you ' re going to be recognized and people are going

to take care of you and make you feel welcome and make you feel appreciated ."
The Urban Stillhouse prides itself on its elevated service , with servers who are knowledgeable about the products , bourbon and food alike , and strive to interact with guests and let them know it matters that they came . Likewise , making new friends is just as important as welcoming the established ones .
" It ' s a lot of fun when people come in and they ' ve never before , new clients are in town ," said Stephens . " A lot of the guys bring their clients in and we just have a good time ."
Stephens also enjoys the history of the town and of the building they ' re located in , at 95 South Main Street . Plans are to expand into the space next door , also a former part of the Goldenberg

store and also known as the one-time Jarfly Brewing Co . space , which will serve as a retail outlet for Horse Soldier Bourbon , with private dining rooms upstairs that connect to the current restaurant .
But while Horse Soldier has an eye on the future , it ' s happy to share in the legacy of the structure ' s past .
" I have people who come in all the time who used to work in the building , or they talk to me about Goldenberg ' s and all the tradition with that ," said Stephens . " We want to be a part of the community . We want to give back to the community . We want to get involved with the community , with all the great events that go on downtown . We want to support that , we want to support the City of Somerset — this is going to be the home for Horse Soldier Bourbon and The Urban Stillhouse ."
