The golf simulator has accumulated over 23 active members and has catered to large corporate events for several businesses . As a result , Cox plans on adding another simulator to meet the rising demand .
While Cox has taken great effort to uphold this brand , he still takes pride in the bar ’ s regular selection , one of which he regularly rotates and claims , “ We will mix anything and everything .”
He also takes pride in the crowds that are often brought in , whether it ’ s for weekly trivia nights , holiday-themed events , or just a regular night . “ It ’ s funny how it rotates here . We have a different crowd for

every hour of the day ,” Cox said . “ We have our sports crowd that comes in to watch the Cats or the Bengals . At night , it turns into more of what you ’ d see in Louisville or Nashville . It turns into a pretty big club-like experience .”
Furthering the bar ’ s uniqueness , one side of the bar is equipped with two large garage doors .
During the warmer parts of the year , especially during downtown events , Cox utilizes them to make the business more open to the public and welcome more foot traffic .
Birdies and Barrels ’ hours of operation are Sunday from 1 p . m . to 9 p . m ., Monday through Thursday from 4 p . m . to 12 a . m ., and Friday and Saturday from 1 p . m . to 1 a . m .
