Shortly after the comic store opened , COVID-19 hit and the store closed to the public for a time . " As we opened up bit-by-bit , we weren ' t able to have gaming ( sessions in the store ), so we just kept putting more product in the store until we ran out of room for tables ," said Stephens . " Once things kind of settled to the point where people can safely come back and play , it was one of those things -- so many people were asking about it that we made sure it happened ."
The store hosts live games seven days a week and even carries collectibles like sports cards . " It ' s just a little bit of everything ," said Stephens .

He noted that the comic store is " constantly growing ," with more and more action figures and collectibles all the time .
" We expanded our skateboard section to take up a large portion of the back

wall ," said Stephens . " We ' ve added posters and several other niche products people have asked about in the past ."
The store also has a set-up

for people to play video games , and has added popular Gachapon machines as found |
in Japan -- put in a token and get a small toy . " They ' re just constantly wiped out because kids come in there and are getting tokens non-stop ," said Stephens .

The reaction from the community to Lemonjuice McGee ' s Comic Cavalcade has been great , said Stephens , and the store ' s subscribers are at the highest numbers of any store he ' s worked with . Online business is up , up , and away , and regular in-store customers are helping things stay , well , super .
" Every time someone comes in the store , I ' m super proud of it ," said Stephens . " I love being here . It ' s fantastic ."
