The front nine plays short distance-wise , but the tight fairways require accurate shots . Many of the frontnine holes wind their way between cozy condominiums . In contrast , the back nine is nestled at the backend of the wooded peninsula .

The Woodson Bend golf course has played host to many statewide golf tournaments . After a challenging and fun-filled

round , golfers will have the pleasure of playing the par-5 18th hole . The eighteenth two-tiered green sits just beyond a spectacular fountained water hazard .

And after the round , golfers

can sit out on the southernstyled 19th-hole porch to watch other golfers ' approach shot to the 18th green .
