reputation as one of the area ' s best places to go to hear firstrate performers in action . Product-wise , Jarfly has expanded its brewing equipment to help keep up with local self-distribution ; " We ' re running retail kegs ourselves , to local markets ," said Stroud .

Recently , Jarfly started brewing its first seltzer , available in both alcoholic and non-alcoholic varieties .

" It will be an awesome option for those people that aren ' t drinking alcohol and are still wanting to be healthconscious , because there ' s really no sugar calorie intake with it either ," said Stroud .

He also mentioned that they ' re serving more hard cider products , giving the menu an even greater array of options .

" We ' re kind of investing

into broadening what we offer beyond just all grain brewed beer ," he added .

The COVID era has meant " ebb and flow and new challenges " for Jarfly , said Stroud , but the business has always been a " scrappy underdog ," having to adapt to changing business and cultural climates . After all , it was only four years before Jarfly opened that Somerset even went " wet " in the first place , allowing the legal sale of alcohol .

" That ' s sort of ( the situation ) we were born in ," said Stroud . " So ( COVID is ) more par for the course for us . It ' s just different challenges ."

Stroud is an artistic soul with an easygoing manner , and has always sought for Jarfly to be a place where the creative juices flow as easily as the taps . With new products
