CITY GUIDES Gastronomy Polish cuisine is a mix of western and foreign Slavic culinary traditions. Arisen from the mixture of diverse culinary customs of various regions of Poland and neighboring cultures, it uses a wide variety of ingredients. It is rich in meat of all kinds and seasonings, as well as different types of pasta and dumplings, the most popular are pierogi.
