SIMULATION RANGE
The Public Safety Training Center has an eight-lane range that can accommodate handgun and
rifle training. In addition to traditional paper targets, the college also has the midwest’s only
live-fire video simulation range. This affords officers and students a unique opportunity to
combine video simulation with live fire.
NWTC is also home to several “Use of Force” video simulators. Two simulators are permanently
housed in a range type of environment while two are portable and can be brought to law
enforcement agencies within our district.
