BURN TOWER
The Public Safety Training Center includes a realistic burn tower that allows firefighters
to practice entries into a structure fire; conducting search-and-rescue in heavy smoke,
and even rappelling down a four-story shaft in full turnout gear - all in temperatures over
700 degrees Fahrenheit. The burn tower is also home to the only basement firefighting
training facility in Wisconsin.
