Hernando HOPE( Helping Other People with Empathy) is working hard to find jobs & homes for homeless people in this area. We start with food, clothing & toiletries including disposable paper goods & such grooming products as shampoo, razor blades, toothpaste & brushes, soap, etc. Then we get them IDs so they can work & we help them find jobs. It takes time & persistent effort. If you have the time & compassion to share, we need you. Call 571-748-8033. HOPE is a 501( C) 3 organization so all donations, including food, clothing and toiletries, are tax deductible.
Hernando Orchestra is looking for talented musicians of all ages, who would like to experience playing with an orchestra and the company of fellow artists while while making lasting friendships and valuable contacts in their art. We play concerts every year & have good times together. We also have instruments to loan if you need one and experienced members to coach you if necessary & help you get started.
