Hernando County Green Party ’ s next film : Planet of the Humans ( 100 min ) at the library 9220 Spring Hill Drive on May 22 , 3:00 PM . Michael Moore producer Jeff Gibbs director . This film says what everyone else seems to be afraid of saying about the battle to stop climate change on planet earth , because we are following leaders who have taken us down the wrong road — selling out the green movement to wealthy interests and corporate interests . Max Blumenthal has investigated the suppression of this film by “ green ” billionaires .
Hernando County Kennel Club meetings are held at 8:00 PM on the third Thursday of the month at Hernando Senior Citizens Center , 8187 Fort Dade Ave , Brooksville , FL . Guests are welcome . The next meeting is May 16 , 2024 . Only Service dogs allowed during meeting . Training classes for AKC Conformation , Rally , and Obedience are held weekly at the same location . Hernando Harmonizers This year the Hernando Harmonizers , pulled off a 3rd place win and most improved chorus ! We are a mixed chorus of men and women , approximately 20 singers . Our Senior quartet , Citrus Blend , received a 1st place and will compete in International this summer . We are always looking for new singers !, Nativity Lutheran Church on 19 , in Weeki Wachee . Hernando HOPE ( Helping Other People with Empathy ) is about getting homeless People into homes & jobs . We start with food , clothing & toiletries including disposable paper goods & grooming products like shampoo , razor blades , toothpaste & brushes , soap , etc . We then get them IDs so they can work & we help them find jobs . It takes persistent effort & lots of support . If you have the time & compassion to share , we need you . Call 571-748-8033 .
