Hernando HOPE( Helping Other People with Empathy) works to get indigent people off the streets and out of the woods. We stabilize the individual with food, clothing, & toiletries such as baby wipes, toilet paper, shampoo, razor blades, hair brushes & combs, hair ties, toothpaste and toothbrushes, soap, towels, washcloths, etc. Then we get them IDs so they can work & we help find them jobs. It sounds easy, but it isn’ t. It takes persistent effort and lots of support. If you have the time and compassion to share. We need you! Call 571-748-8033.
Hernando Orchestra is looking for talented musicians of any age, who would like to experience playing with an orchestra. We also need adult musicians to serve as mentors. We have instruments to loan if you need one and experienced members to help you get started.
