Hernando County Kennel Club meetings are held at 7:00 PM on the third Thursday of the month at Hernando Senior Citizens Center , 8187 Fort Dade Ave , Brooksville , FL . Guests are welcome . The next meeting is Feb 20 , 2025 . Only Service dogs allowed during meeting . Training classes for AKC Conformation , Rally , and Obedience are held weekly at the same location . Hernando HOPE ( Helping Other People with Empathy ) helps homeless People find homes & jobs . We begin by collecting food , clothing & toiletries including disposable paper goods & grooming products like shampoo , razor blades , toothpaste & brushes , soap , etc . After that we get them IDs so they can work & then we help them find jobs . It takes persistent effort & lots of support . If you have the time & compassion to share , we need you . Call 571-748-8033 . HOPE is a 501 ( C ) 3 organization so all donations are tax deductible .
