Forzalife With Wildcat KNH

Hey guys, WildcatKNH here. I Just wanted to take a few minutes and tell you a little about myself and my experiences with the Forza series … my Forzalife. I’m fourty seven and from just outside Cincinnati in the US. I grew up very near Lexington, KY … home of the Kentucky Wildcats (and now you know where the GT comes from). And, no, old men like me are not supposed to enjoy video games as much as I do.

My Forzalife began with Forza Motorsport 5. I had always enjoyed driving/racing games but had only played other series. With the launch of the XBox One and Forza 5, I decided it was time to give Forza a look. I was amazed at the graphics and immediately drawn to the paint booth. Some of my first attempts at painting were pretty basic and I was not satisfied. If you’ve been around the Forza community for a while, you’re probably familiar with Sweedish Thunder. He’s known for his amazing NASCAR replicas in Forza. Not being satisfied with my work and running across Sweedish Thunder on the Forza forums, I asked him for some tips and advice on how to become a better painter. The suggestions and guidance he gave me at that time helped get my Forza painting career headed in the right direction.

Since then, I’ve been a dedicated painter in Forza 5, Horizon 2 and now Forza 6. And I will continue to visit the paint booth as long as it’s a part of the Forza series. Early on most of my work was with replicas, I found it easier for me to re-create a livery than to come up with a totally new design. As we’ve moved forward I’ve ventured out into original designs a bit more now.

I’ve really enjoyed contributing to and interacting with the Forza community and have learned a great deal as a result. Most recently, through some conversations with PTG Alkoholik on the Forza forums, I learned about PTG. Some of the names were already familiar to me, but it was great to find a group of people who enjoyed Forza and all that goes along with it as much as I do. To this point, I’ve spent more time in the paint booth than I actually have racing in Forza … but I’m dedicating myself to racing more and even trying my hand at tuning for the first time. Hopefully with some guidance from the guys at PTG, I can become a better racer as well.

I hope you’ve enjoyed or maybe even downloaded some of my work. You can find me and my paints on the Forza forums, at the Forza Storefront as well as here at the PTG forums. See you on the tracks …
