PTFA Financial Updates
Thank you for supporting the PTFA's fundraisers! The first few fundraisers of the year have been quite successful and have exceeded budgeted goals – giving the PTFA a surplus of funds which will allow the PTFA to further bless our teachers and provide additional enrichment opportunities to our students.
PTFA Fundraiser Results
PTFA Vendor Fair: raised $2,280 ($1,000 above our goal!)
Meadow Farms: raised $3,475 ($1,200 above our goal!)
Elementary Christmas Store: raised $1,473 ($500 above our goal!)
Upcoming PTFA Fundraisers
MCM Fundraising: Butter Braids
Watch for upcoming information about the PTFA's spring fundraiser which will run from February 26 through March 11. All orders placed will be ready for pick-up on March 25...just in time for Easter! (Their "butter braids" are absolutely delicious, but other items are available, too.)
Sweet Frog on Last Day of School
Be sure to join us at Sweet Frog in Manchester on the last day of school for frozen yogurt! This fun annual tradition benefits the PTFA's program funding initiatives.
PTFA-Funded Projects 1st Semester
During the first semester of the 2023-2024 school year, the PTFA has funded the following PTFA-budgeted items:
LEVEL UP Theme Shirts (for all students and staff)
Annual Laminator Service Plan (for teacher use)
SchoolMessenger Subscription (school-wide emergency communication system)
Classroom Enrichment & Teacher Support
In support of classroom enrichment and teacher support, the PTFA has funded the following items:
* Noise-canceling headsets for student use in classrooms
* New electric and manual pencil sharpeners for Grade 4
* Funding assistance of $185 to offset parent costs for the
K-Prep's planned visit from Mystic Aquarium
* New color printer for teacher use...to be purchased soon!

Teacher Appreciation Initiatives of the PTFA
National Teacher Appreciation Week (May 6-10)
The PTFA is looking for help to express appreciation to our school's teachers and staff during Teacher Appreciation Week. Let us know if you would like to help!
Annual Teacher Appreciation Luncheon (June 4)
The PTFA treats the CCS faculty and staff with a much-appreciated luncheon the day before the last day of school each year (an early dismissal day). Let us know if you can help!
