RAIS FROM BARMER BOYS
armer boys are trio meld of traditional Sufi and celbratory songs with the acid twang of the Morchang, the rhythm of the dholak and beatboxing. Band is well recognised across Europe, South Asia & America. Mangey and Rais are two loud voices of this group. Rais is a multi instrumentalist and plays Morchang( Jews harp), Bhapang( a single stringed plucked drum) and Khartaal. He was recently featured on MTV Unplugged Season 6, episode 1, with AR Rahman on 14th Jan.
