International Fest brings the world to Port St. Lucie
Port St. Lucie residents didn’ t have to board a plane to explore the world last month— they simply headed to the MIDFLORIDA Event Center for the 2025 International Fest. The event drew a vibrant, enthusiastic crowd as attendees celebrated culture, community and connection.
This year’ s event delivered its most dynamic lineup yet. Audiences gathered around the main stage to watch an exciting rotation of performances, including mariachi musicians, Caribbean Junkanoo dancers, hula, African drumming and colorful Bollywood choreography. Families and visitors of all ages stayed engaged throughout the day, cheering and dancing along.
Food vendors were equally popular, with global favorites like Brazilian barbecue, Japanese hibachi, Mexican street tacos, churros, gelato and Jamaican jerk.
The sports field added another layer of excitement, featuring youth rugby demonstrations, Scottish Highland Games exhibitions and a lighthearted dachshund race.
Indoors, the Arts and Ideas Experience impressed attendees with cultural fashion displays, interactive dance workshops, art exhibits and opportunities to engage with City staff.
After night fell, Beatlemania made a comeback on the outdoor stage. 1964 The Tribute, which Rolling Stone magazine called“ the best Beatles tribute Earth,” celebrated the British band with a rollicking performance.
Now in its third year, the Port St. Lucie International Fest is becoming a treasured annual event that celebrates the many cultures and traditions that make Port St. Lucie such a dynamic place to be.
This year ' s event was funded with a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.
