Special Events

Team delivers more successful events for residents, visitors
The past two weeks have been an extremely busy and successful period for Special Events.
From Oct. 31 through Nov. 2, Special Events hosted its annual Fall Fun Fest, welcoming more than 3,000 children to the popular Street of Treats. The event featured a fall carnival experience, food vendors, a community marketplace and Boy Scout Troop 422 ' s SCAREZONE. The Youth Council also provided a free family movie night, featuring " Hocus Pocus." Entertainment throughout the festival included performances by Absolute Queen, The Long Run and Tom Jackson, each drawing strong crowds and great feedback.
Special Events also held the first River Nights of the season after the October event was canceled because of rain. Attendance was excellent as guests enjoyed a beautiful evening with live music from The Resolvers.
The team successfully delivered the Port St. Lucie International Fest, celebrating cultures from around the world through food, sports and live performances. The night conclude with a high-energy show by 1964 The Tribute, a Beatles tribute band.
This has been one of the busiest times of the season and the Special Events team has worked exceptionally hard to deliver safe, seamless and high-quality events for the community. It is now shifting its focus to final preparations for Festival of Lights on Dec. 6, ensuring another memorable experience for residents and visitors.
