City collects resident feedback for NW East Torino Parkway improvements
More than 70 residents recently participated in the public meetings for the NW East Torino Parkway improvements. These meetings, held at Winterlakes Park and the Community Center, allowed residents to learn about the City’ s vision to enhance this vital corridor and share their input.
The project aims to promote safety, improve traffic flow and provide opportunities for biking and walking on NW Cashmere Boulevard from NW Peacock to NW East Torino Parkway, and NW East Torino Parkway from NW Cashmere Boulevard to W Midway Road. This initiative is part of the 2045 Mobility Study and is crucial for the City ' s future infrastructure development.
Attendees engaged with project team members, participated in surveys and reviewed detailed information boards outlining the project. For those unable to attend, the survey remains open on the City ' s until the end of the year and can be accessed at www. link. cityofpsl. com / etpsurvey.
Engaging the community is crucial for the success of this project, and Public Works appreciate everyone ' s participation and input. Stay tuned for more updates and opportunities to get involved in making our roads safer and more efficient. The next public meeting for this project is anticipated to be in August.
Construction underway for Tulip, College Park intersection improvements

This project will add a new right-turn lane eastbound past College Park, replace the mini-roundabout with a raised median up to Sandbar Street, modify the westbound traffic signal and install new crosswalks and sidewalks on both sides of Tulip. A raised crosswalk will be added on Tulip, and a speed table on College Park Road. All County Paving is the contractor and completion is expected by summer 2026, weather permitting.
The south entrance of SW College Park Road is closed until the end of January for drainage structure replacement. Motorists should use SW Sandbar Street as an alternate route. The road is anticipated to reopen by the end of February. www. CityofPSL. com / PublicWorks
