Remembering longtime employee Anthony DiMatteo
Public Works gathered to honor Anthony Robert DiMatteo, who unexpectedly passed away in October. Tony worked in Public Works GIS and was admired for his focus, dependability and dedication. He helped shape the community and provided a level of expertise on city code.
In lieu of flowers, the family requested donations be made to Maddie’ s Fight Foundation in honor of Tony’ s niece. City staff and the APWA provided a donation to support the cause and honor Tony’ s memory. In addition, Public Works organized an honorary parade of our equipment past the home of Tony and his wife. You can watch a video of the parade here.
Tony is dearly missed by Public Works and the entire City. www. CityofPSL. com / PublicWorks
