St. Lucie Cultural Alliance Art Exhibit presents the Celebrate Joy Exhibition
48th annual Jewelry, Rock and Gem Show
This popular annual show returned to the Event Center for another year, with guests enjoying the festivities and the shopping on Oct. 18 and 19.
More than 1,500 visitors experienced artisans and vendors selling their wares, including handcrafted jewelry created from beads, rocks, silver, copper and more; slabs and cabochons of exotic rocks; and faceted gemstones from around the world. Additionally, there were jewelry-making demonstrations, raffles for custom-made items and a kids corner where children could learn about gemstones and make their own jewelry. We hope to welcome these talented artisans back in 2026.
On Oct. 24, guests were the first to experience diverse artistic interpretations at the exhilarating opening night of the annual art exhibition at the MIDFLORIDA Event Center. This year’ s theme,“ Celebrate Joy,” explores the beauty of expression, including oil paintings by Marie Morrow, Michael Love and Caridad Faust; acrylics by Lisa Allison, Janet Roessler and Terry Long; and the unique presentation of wood cubes and acrylic paint by Peter Azzopardi.
Coming in January is an exhibition of local artist Debra Terrio, featuring watercolor, oil, acrylic, pastel, clay sculpture and environmental media.
