Floresta Drive Improvements: Floresta Drive Phase 3
Construction for Floresta Drive Phase 3 is in progress. Multiple crews are on site, working on essential underground drainage, watermain activities and roadway. Additionally, efforts are underway to construct the stormwater retention pond at Harborview Drive, enhance drainage for the D-11 canal and install a baffle box for the D-8 canal. Work on Prima Vista Boulevard is anticipated to start later this year.
Lane and road closures are in place. Detours notify motorists ahead of the closure on Crosstown Parkway and Prima Vista Boulevard. Additionally, several local streets remain accessible for traffic. Floresta is closed from SE Calmoso Drive to NE Prima Vista Boulevard and from SW Greenway Terrace to SE Calmoso Drive to install drainage structures and drainage pipes and includes roadway activities.
These closures are essential because of space limitations, safety concerns and to ensure the integrity of the installation. They also will help maintain the project schedule and project costs.
