Floresta Drive Improvements: Floresta Drive Phase 3
Construction for Floresta Drive Phase 3 is in progress. Multiple crews are on site, working on essential underground drainage and watermain activities. Additionally, efforts are underway to construct the stormwater retention pond at Harborview and to enhance drainage for the D-11 canal and install a baffle box for the D-8 Canal.
Lane and road closures are in place, with detours to notify motorists ahead of the closure on Crosstown Parkway and Prima Vista Boulevard. Additionally, several local streets remain accessible for traffic. Floresta Drive is closed from SE Calmoso Drive to NE Prima Vista Boulevard and from SW Greenway Terrace to SE Calmoso Drive to install drainage structures and drainage pipes and includes roadway activities.
These closures are essential because of space limitations, safety concerns and to ensure the integrity of the installation. They also will help maintain the project schedule and project costs. Advance warnings and detour signage will be prominently displayed. The schedule can be impacted by weather conditions.
