Get your kicks with cardio kickboxing class
Looking ahead, we’ re thrilled to announce the launch of a new cardio kickboxing class at the MIDFLORIDA Event Center Fitness & Wellness Center, starting Friday, Aug. 1, at 9 a. m.
Gaby DeCarvalho and Sandy McKeithen will kick off the first class with a mashup of moves that promises to invigorate participants. Following the inaugural session, they will alternate leading the class weekly, offering fresh routines to keep everyone motivated and challenged.
Additionally, the Lift Lab will be held at the MIDFLORIDA Event Center Fitness & Wellness Center on the third Monday of each month from 3:30-4 p. m. This program, led by trainer Casey Long, will focus on barbell basics, helping participants improve their form and learn proper techniques for key exercises such as the bench press, deadlifts and squats. It’ s an excellent opportunity for those looking to enhance their weightlifting skills and knowledge.
Senior Dance draws big crowd
The Country Theme Senior Dance was a tremendous success, with an amazing turnout of 210 attendees! The event was filled with great music, lively dancing and plenty of smiles as seniors came together to celebrate and enjoy the festive atmosphere. It was a night to remember and a true highlight for our senior community.
The Saints Golf Course
Sunny days, lots of play at The Saints
Everyone is enjoying The Saints Golf Course during these warm, sunny summer months. Attendance remains solid, camps continue to have good attendance and the driving range business is staying strong.
Special maintenance procedures have been performed on the course and with the recent rains, the course is looking great. The Saints staff works hard at providing the best golfing experience possible for everyone in the City and the surrounding communities.
