KPSLB celebrates volunteers and 34 years of the Adopt-A-Street program!
On June 26, KPSLB hosted its annual Adopt-A-Street Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast with more than 125 volunteers there to celebrate 34 years of the Adopt-A-Street program!
The American Legion Post 318 Honor Guard presented the colors to kick off our event, followed by our distinguished guest speakers, Mayor Shannon M. Martin, Lt. Butterworth of the Port St. Lucie Police Department and KPSLB Committee Vice Chair Crystal Knott.
KPSLB took a moment to recognize this year’ s Golden Grabber Award winners: Kings Isle Ping Pong; The Neumanns; Pick Me Up Trash; Glenn Magrane; PSL Crosstown Running Club; and the McKenna Family, while also acknowledging the work done by all the Adopt-A-Street groups.
In 2025, our volunteers dedicated 2,677 hours, performed 2,135 individual cleanups and collected 32,025 pounds of litter! We are so grateful to our amazing volunteers for helping keep Port St. Lucie Beautiful!
