PSLPD wins 3 awards at 2026 FRAF Awards Ceremony
Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Florida
The Port St. Lucie Police Department proudly joined the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Florida on May 9 alongside the St. Lucie County Sheriff’ s Office, the Fort Pierce Police Department and the incredible athletes who inspire this mission every year.
More than a run, this event represents unity, perseverance and the power of community. Together, we help raise awareness and support programs that empower individuals with intellectual disabilities across Florida while reinforcing a simple truth: every person matters.
It was an honor to stand beside these athletes, cheer them on and carry the torch for inclusion, respect and opportunity.
The Port St. Lucie Police Department is honored to have been recognized May 27 at the 2026 First Responders Appreciation Foundation( FRAF) Awards Ceremony, an event that celebrates excellence, professionalism and dedication among public safety agencies across Florida.
This year, agencies competed in 14 award categories recognizing outstanding service, bravery, investigations and lifesaving actions. PSLPD is proud to have taken home three of the 14 awards presented.
