Construction started in May for intersection improvements at St. Lucie West and NW Peacock boulevards. The City is adding lanes to St. Lucie West and Peacock boulevards to improve traffic flow and access to Interstate 95. The project will also enhance sidewalks, drainage and landscaping.
To help answer questions and inform residents and businesses about the project, the City hosted a public meeting May 5 at South County Regional Stadium. City staff and the project team were available to answer questions and provide information on the project.
Lane closures are anticipated throughout construction. Residents are asked to use caution as they drive through the area.
