PSLPD officers recognized for DUI enforcement
Officer Keith Appelbaum and Officer Stenly Tomczyk from the Traffic Unit were recognized by Remember for Change for their unwavering commitment to DUI enforcement. These two officers had the highest number of DUI arrests and because of their vigilance, our roads are safer. Thank you for your tireless efforts to ensure everyone gets home.
2025 annual SWAT retreat at Okeechobee Shooting Sports
All five elements of SWAT-- entry, breaching, sniper, techs and negotiators-- participated in this event and recapped their 2024 achievements. They additionally set goals, planned objectives for the next year, reviewed critical incidents, conducted shooting drills and recognized exceptional service by many of their members.
