Sharing experiences at Career Awareness Day
Members of the Office of Management and Budget, Senior Management and Budget Analyst Myra Ugarte and Budget Management Analyst I Kyle Gillan, participated in Career Awareness Day on March 26 at Calvary Christan Academy.
The event brought together a variety of organizations and provided more than 250 students with the opportunity to explore the wide range of career paths available to them. Our staff is passionate about the work they do and appreciated the opportunity to share their knowledge, experiences and enthusiasm with students as they consider their future goals.
Procurement seminar highlights importance of smart, efficient City spending
Procurement hosted an informative National Procurement Month Seminar on March 13 at the Community Center.
The event drew a strong turnout from across City departments and other local agencies, providing valuable insights into how purchasing professionals help ensure public resources are spent responsibly and transparently.
National Procurement Month recognizes the contributions of procurement professionals to organizations and government efficiency.
