Code staff attends Healthcare CEMP Workshop
On March 26, Acting Code Manager Rachel Knaggs, Code Compliance Officer Melissa Huckstable and Special Projects Coordinator Sara Brown participated in the Healthcare Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan( CEMP) Workshop held at the Fenn Center by St. Lucie County.
This workshop featured entities from throughout the county that handle different aspects of community residential homes. Neighborhood Services was there to speak with providers and business owners, answer questions and provide guidance to make sure Community Residential Homes within City limits are operating properly and legally. Code Officer Huckstable presented a Power Point explaining the proper process to reserve and license a location in the City limits.
