What: Hogpen Slough public meeting When: 5-7 p. m. Wednesday, April 23 Where: City Hall Council Chambers, 121 SW Port St. Lucie Blvd. Information: Meet the project team and discuss the next steps in the Hog Pen Slough Stormwater Treatment Area( STA) Project.
What: Bayshore Boulevard Multimodal Corridor Improvements Study public meeting When: 5-7 p. m. Tuesday, April 29 Where: City Hall Council Chambers, 121 SW Port St. Lucie Blvd. Information: Residents are invited to participate in the Bayshore Boulevard Multimodal Corridor Improvement Study, which is assessing 1.15 miles of the Bayshore Boulevard corridor, from Prima Vista Boulevard to Selvitz Road. The study aims to identify opportunities for enhancements that accommodate various modes of transportation. The feasibility study will involve traffic studies, geotechnical investigations, environmental reviews and overall safety evaluations.
During the meeting, residents will be able to review and provide feedback on proposed improvement concepts for Bayshore Boulevard, which includes options for threelane and four-lane roadways. One of the suggested improvements is the installation of a roundabout at the intersection of Floresta Drive and Bayshore Boulevard. This roundabout is expected to enhance safety, improve traffic flow and serve as an attractive feature for the roadway.
