Leaders need to be an asset to the organization , rather than a liability , thus needing a basic understanding of the law and organizational policies if we are to achieve our strategic plan goal of a high-performing government organization . In this training , participants will distinguish between illegal , impermissible and inappropriate conduct , and explore an overview of legal issues pertinent to leadership , including steps to promote awareness of and adherence to compliance issues among employees .
