Utility Systems

Toothbrush partnership taps water conservation
You can save 8 gallons of water every day by turning the faucet off when you brush your teeth .
Utility Systems ’ Water Woman is spreading that message to Port St . Lucie students ahead of Water Conservation Month , recognized in April , with help from Ardalan Pediatric Dentistry . Dr . Reza Ardalan donated 1,500 toothbrushes to Utility Systems to disperse during Water Woman ’ s education presentations to remind kids to brush their teeth and turn the faucet off .
This partnership also recognizes Dentists Day , celebrated March 6 , to thank them for the care they provide to their patients . Water Woman kicked off this effort at Savanna Ridge Elementary School , where she presented to 460 students in kindergarten through fifth grade . Collectively , the kids will save 3,680 gallons of water the next time they brush their teeth and turn off the faucet .
